Ashley is a artist based in Gloucestershire, UK. He creates mixed-media illustrations using a mixture of traditional drawing, watercolour paints, and digital Photoshop techniques.

He finds interest in all things dark and spooky and loves nothing more than Immersing himself in fairytales, folklore, and unusual mysteries surrounding creepy myths and legends of the world. Steering away from most contemporary pursuits and pop culture influences ultimately drove him to discover an interest in the dark and macabre. His fascination with ghost stories and gruesome points in history, such as the horrors at the Salem Witch Trials and the dark deeds of Countless Elizabeth Báthory, inspire a twist of darkness. At the same time, he still maintains an attractive and charming lure to his work.

Ashley finds inspiration from directors such as Guillermo del Toro, Tim Burton, and Robert Eggers, concept artists such as Feng Zhu, Scott Robertson, and Marc Brunet, and illustrators such as Arthur Rackham, Abigail Larson, and Cosmic Spectrum. He is also an avid gamer who enjoys titles such as World of Warcraft, Dark Souls, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
